New Corvette C8 Named 2020 MotorTrend Car of the Year

The 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray takes an undeniable icon and rockets it to the boldest heights ever. It should come as no surprise, then, that the new, mid-engine Corvette C8 was named 2020 MotorTrend Car of the Year, marking the third time the Corvette has claimed the title in the history of the respected publication.

The Corvette was named Car of the Year by MotorTrend for the first time in 1984, and then again in 1998. Now that the Corvette has received the award once again after two decades shows that the Corvette remains now as ever one of the most innovative and bold sports cars available.

In fact, the 2020 Corvette is the first-ever production mid-engine Corvette, marking a drastic design change that lends the all-new Stingray an absolutely gorgeous design as well as some jaw-dropping performance specs. The 2020 Corvette Stingray is, after all, the fastest and most powerful entry-level Corvette in the vehicle’s 66-year history.

With 0-60 mph acceleration in just 2.9 seconds when equipped with the Z51 Performance Package, the 2020 Corvette Stingray is guaranteed to inject endless fun into every drive. And with a starting MSRP of just $59,995, there is no better way to elevate your driving experience.

The new Corvette looks even better in person than it does in the pictures. Come see it at your convenience at Terryville Chevrolet!

Chevrolet Colorado Redesign is Looking Good

The Chevrolet Colorado redesign was unveiled in October at the 2019 Method Race Wheels Laughlin Desert Classic. Following the race, the Colorado ZR2 also showed its new face at the SEMA show in Las Vegas in November.

One key element of the redesign is a bigger distinction between each trim. For the 2021 Chevrolet Colorado, different trims set themselves apart with unique front- and rear-end details. Each trim gets an updated Chevy “bowtie” emblem on the front and “Chevrolet” embossed on the rear tailgate.

For the WT and LT trims, the front-end shows off an all-new gold Chevy bowtie logo, while the Z71 features a black bowtie logo. All three of these trims also get refreshed center bars and lower front skid plates and front fascias.

The off-road ready Chevy Colorado ZR2 model boasts unique details that highlight its rugged capability. This trim gets a new flow-through front fascia with “Chevrolet” in bold letters. It’s designed with a more aggressive appearance, plus better visibility. This, along with things like Multimatic DSSV™ position-sensitive dampers and a 2-inch suspension lift, enhance the driver’s off-road experience.

The Chevrolet Colorado redesign sure is looking good, don’t you think? It will be a while before the 2021 model makes its way to Terryville Chevrolet, so stay tuned for more updates on the truck’s availability!
